STOCKDALE, TX – “I’m in the aquaculture industry because it is ingrained in my heart and mind,” says Chris Mills, sole owner and managing member of Hydro Composites LLC (Hydro).
His company, a custom fiberglass manufacturing and fabrication shop housed in a 9,000-square-foot building here on a six-acre site about 52 miles southeast of San Antonio, is busy and doing well these days, but that has not always been the case.
Chris’s passion for the industry and personal drive were put to the test a few years back when a sister company failed and put the future of Hydro – and Chris – very much up in the air.
