The NOAA Fisheries Navigator is a bi-monthly newsletter produced by NOAA Fisheries Service and published in Commercial Fisheries News to better inform the fishing industry and general public about the agency’s many activities.
The NOAA Fisheries Navigator centralizes information for readers by providing updates on a variety of topics that range from regulatory actions to cooperative research to educational opportunities. It features information relevant to different marine species, such as multispecies groundfish, tuna, lobster, scallops, whales, and turtles, and also captures the more personal side of commercial fishing in the Northeast region by profiling fishermen, seafood dealers, and others who work in the fishing industry.
Please direct any questions or comments to Navigator Managing Editor, Andrea Gomez, PhD. She may be reached by e-mail at <andrea.gomez@noaa.gov> or by phone at (978) 282-8481.
