New standards for common names of fishes apply to aquaculture, all fisheries sciences
Not long ago, I was casually thumbing through my April copy of Fisheries, the magazine of the American Fisheries Society (AFS), a duty I look forward to every month when it comes through the door.
For me, one of the highlights is seeing what new books and other publications might be available for purchase.
As a consultant, one of my primary jobs is to stay up to date on the scientific and so-called gray literature, and expanding my electronic and hardcopy library is a never-ending task.
