It\u2019s probably fair to say that Andy McGeoch fell in love with Cape Cod before he fell in love with boat building.<\/p>\n

The Cape Cod crush started when Andy was four years old, living in the Finger Lakes region of New York.<\/p>\n

\"wheel-watch\"\u201cThat summer, my father said we were going to Cape Cod for two weeks,\u201d says Andy.\u00a0 \u201cThe following year, he announced we were going to Prince Edward Island for vacation.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018No \u2013 we\u2019re going back to Cape Cod,\u2019 I said.\u201d<\/p>\n

Young Andy got his way \u2013 and until he could move there to stay, he visited Cape Cod every chance he could.<\/p>\n

\u201cDuring the years I was at New York Maritime College, I\u2019d drive to the Cape all the time \u2013 even if it was just for a few hours.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before Andy began building boats, he was working aboard them \u2013 a chapter of his life that began when he crossed paths with a fisherman named Lee Tallman.<\/p>\n

After a couple hours of deck work put $96 in his pocket, Andy says he\u2019d figured he\u2019d found a way to live full-time on the Cape and<\/i> be rich.\u00a0 He bought a…<\/p>\n
