\nNOTE TO READERS — There is a significant error in the Windowpane Accountability Measures article on page 2 of this month’s PRINT version of the Navigator.\u00a0 It says “…therefore scallop vessels cannot use dredge gear in the area west of 71 [deg] W. longitude for the month of February 2018.” \u00a0This is incorrect.\u00a0 Rather, vessels\u00a0must<\/span>\u00a0use dredge gear (i.e., cannot use trawl gear to fish for scallops) and must meet certain ring configuration and twine top hanging ratio requirements for the month of February 2018. \u00a0A correction has been made in this online version. \u00a0Our apologies for any confusion this may have caused. \u00a0— NOAA Navigator team.
