\nThere was a time when a trip down to Cranberry Point in Corea, ME would put you right in the middle of some serious boat building activity, between the Young Brothers and Light\u2019s Fiberglass.<\/p>\n

These days, SW Boatworks in Lamoine is the source if you\u2019re looking for a Young Brothers hull \u2026 and the YB shop is gone.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, Light\u2019s Fiberglass has stayed busy since owner Mike Light first went on his own in 1992.\u00a0 Even when the demand for new boats dried up a few years ago, Light and his crew had plenty of repair and repower work to do.\u00a0 \u201cI was one of the lucky ones,\u201d says Mike.\u00a0 \u201cThe repair work was what kept me going when I first started…<\/p>\n
