NEW BEDFORD, MA – There always seems to be something going on at Dan Eilertsen’s dock in New Bedford, and this past summer was no exception. Dan likes to take good care of his fleet, so he and a crew of guys from his company, Nordic Inc., undertook a major project – the stem-to-stern rebuilding of his 108′ scalloper Liberty.
Built in 1987 by Houma, LA-based Main Iron Works Inc., she was starting to show her age. But by the end of August, Liberty had literally become a brand new boat.
